Northumberland 2009: 30th Birthday Number One...

So the first one of us has turned 30! In honour of David Pape's coming of age we organised him a trip to Northumberland. (Well he was never going to sort it out himself was he?!)

Staying in the village of Beadnell we rented the Heron's Flight holiday cottage which was a great base for exploring Seahouses, the Farne Islands and Holy Island.

We also managed to fit in a trip to the instantly forgettable Amble and the equally forgettable Newbiggin-by-the-Sea followed by an afternoon in Durham.
